Comment Card Results 2005
To assist the Shadow Councillors to prioritise their project work, comment cards were distributed amongst the post primary student body in Co Fermanagh at the start of the year. Students were asked to vote for their top three priority issues and to make any comments they felt appropriate. 3278 comment cards were returned to the office (a return of 49%) which is an improvement on last years.
The results were as follows:

Discrimination against Goths and skate boarders. We should be allowed to express ourselves in ways we like.

Scrap the Shadow Youth Council. It is a waste of time whereby you do nothing and let on you are. If the council wants to do things it has nothing to do with you. You ‘tag’ your name to let on you actually do something. It undermines democracy within youth.
